FAQs

Our upgrade is scheduled to go live on May 6th, 2026.  The go live process is three days starting the evening of Monday, May 4th.  All systems will still be available in Inquiry Only mode from Monday evening until Wednesday morning.  During this time, you will be able to see your accounts and transaction activity, but you will not be able to schedule any transfers or payments.

The upgrade will have a unified look and feel between online banking and mobile banking.  Previously, certain features were only available in online banking such as e-Statements.  Other features were only available in the app, such as the debit card alerts and controls.  Now you will notice a seamless experience between the two products.   This update will also provide a more secure, and simplied login process, the ability to add stop payments to checks, and more!

The first login after the upgrade will require your username and password.  If you do not remember your password, please use the forgot password option or reach out to your local branch.

After successfully entering your username and password, you will be prompted to enter a one-time passcode that you can choose to receive via text, call, or email. This process replaces the previous use of a challenge question. If you always log in from the same device, you may not need to enter a passcode each time, but may be required to when making profile changes or transfers.  If the system recognizes a new device login, a new passcode will be requested at that time for your protection.

Once you have successfully logged in, biometric login such as fingerprint or face ID can be turned back on from Settings, found in the Menu.

If you enter your credentials incorrectly and become locked out, the forgot password option will automatically unlock you and allow you to reset your password.

Yes, your current settings will transfer over after the upgrade.  Any scheduled or recurring transfers created before the upgrade will still be available, however, these transfers cannot be edited, only deleted.  If you need to make a change to a recurring transfer that was setup prior to the upgrade, you will delete it and create a new scheduled transfer.

If you are a QuickBooks or Quicken user, action will be required after the update to ensure a smooth transition.  Please review the appropriate conversion instructions below.

  • Be sure to know your current password for your initial login on or after the go-live date.  Use the forgot password option or reach out to your local branch is you need assistance with your password.
  •
  • Confirm the bank has up-to-date contact information including mobile phone number and email address for your one-time passcodes.  These can be updated by going to the profile section of our current online banking system or by reaching out to your local branch.
  •
  • Schedule payments and transfers in advance.  The system will be in Inquiry Only mode from the evening of Monday, May 4th through the morning of May 6th.

You will be prompted to download an updated version of the FBTMobile app.  The initial login after the update will require your username and password.  If you do not know your password, you can choose the forgot password option before or after the update or reach out to your local branch.

Make banking simpler, at home or on the go.
